I am currently interested in science education, particularly physics education from high school to university, and how effective technologies can better serve students and teachers in virtual and non-virtual classrooms alike.
I studied Engineering Physics and Honours Physics at UBC. I conducted research in nuclear physics/condensed matter physics at TRIUMF.
At SFU, I completed an M.Sc in Experimental High Energy Particle Physics, with my work involving the ATLAS detector of the LHC at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.
I was born in Tehran, have lived in Vancouver most of my life, but have also lived in Buenos Aires (1 year) and Bogota (3 years).
Apart from English, I speak Persian, Spanish, and some French.
